Office Productivity Everywhere

As an Application Service Provider and through our Gold Partnership with Microsoft, Penta can provide Office as a subscription based service.
Instead of buying a license for each of your workstations, you simply pay a small fee, based on the number of users using the system in any given month.

Conventionally you would buy and install an application locally on your desktop machine. In the Hosted Microsoft Office 2010 model, the application resides on Penta's server and you access it via Remote Desktop over the Internet.

In the traditional model, users have to manage applications, hardware, licenses, backups and possibly technical staff. In the Hosted Microsoft Office model Penta fulfils these services.

How it works

You use RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) to connect over the internet to one of our servers running Terminal Services and Microsoft Office. All your data is stored securely on our servers which we backup daily. Wherever you are in the world, as long as you can connect to the internet, you can access your applications, e-mail and data, safely and securely.
