Encrypted Voice Communications

Penta’s mobile security solution is the only to combine strong voice encryption, data and device protection, and malware defense.

Most companies have invested in state-of-the-art virus and email protection systems complete with firewalls, but how about securing mobile communications? With Penta’s hosted Mobile Trust Gateway , you can ensure that your conversations and mobile communications are routed through the highest security matched by government and military grade encryption systems. Best of all, there are no in-house modifcations required and you can get started immediately.

How it works

Penta establishes a secure communication channel between subscribing mobile devices by issuing unique certificates, signed by the secure mobile network itself; secure communication begins only if both (or all) parties are recognized. When calling non-Penta devices, the call is encrypted between the user and the secure mobile network, then routed on from the network.

Users’ mobile devices communicate exclusively with the secure mobile network, greatly reducing the chance of infection with Trojan horses or other malware.

The decryption of communication and data on each mobile device requires a public key issued by secure mobile network; a lost or stolen device is therefore useless for secure communication and any data in its memory is unreadable.

Penta encryption extends to voice calls, SMS, e-mails, address books and any other data on the device.

As Swiss companies, Penta and Adeya, our Secure Communications Partner, offer several advantages in assuring information security:

The Swiss government does not require privileged access to encrypted data.

Swiss regulation does not restrict the strength of encryption offered.

Switzerland does not impose export restrictions on encryption technology.

Swiss telecommunications providers are required by law to preserve the confidentiality of user information.

Data centers in Switzerland are not subject to arbitrary seizure or search; any access by the authorities requires an official warrant issued by a Swiss judge.

The Swiss constitution specifically establishes a right to privacy, supported in its Data Protection legislation.
