Infrastructure and Applications Updates for 2012

In keeping up with a five star reputation of deliving

once again completed significant upgrades and is ready
to deliver the latest hosting technologies to new and
existing clients. The latest enhancements clients can
look forward to in 2012 include:
- Upgrade of Customer
server platforms to Windows 2008 R2
- Setup and Migration to
Exchange 2010
- Data Center networking review
and complete overhaul eliminating a single point of
failure (SPOF)
- Data center networking review
reinforcing security: Introduction of second level
firewalls enabling private network infrastructure to
bank level customers. Complete segregation of DMZ
networks
- Introduction of Threat
Management Gateway (TMG) as new generation anti-spam
solution replacing Mime Sweeper
- Completion of customer side
VPN connectivity
- Replacement of anti-virus
across the entire infrastructure (GVA+DXB) by
Symantec under a single management
- Setup of a new generation
NetApp SAN infrastructure in DXB. Phase I of the
storage modernization project, bringing the total -
Q3-2011 storage capacity to more than half a Peta
Bytes of data. Phase II being the addition of 2 x
New generation SANs in Q1-2012 for GVA1 + GVA2 data
centers offering imbedded DR functionality across
all sites
- Complete overhaul of DXB data
center adding full redundancy and high availability
eliminating the single point of failure (SPOF)
- New exchange 2010 4-Tier
infrastructure in Dubai (DXB) data center – with
imbedded DR
- Introduction of redundant F5
Firepass secure remote access in DXB
- Complete revision of Windows
update services WSUS in all data centers
- Renewal of new RSA appliances
with live replicas between Geneva and Dubai
- Setup of new Blackberry BES
5.0 platform in GVA + DXB
- Conduction of security
penetration tests by an independent security firm
- Replacement of VoIP telephony
platform enabling VPN across geographical sites
- Order of new generation IDS
appliances for GVA + DXB data centers
