Job description
- Senior Systems Engineer
in an international Data Center Environment
- Installation and deployment of
Windows servers and Citrix Server based computing
model
- Thorough understanding and VM
working environment
- Integration of XenApp servers
and applications
- Operating Windows Server 2Kx
systems
- Windows scripting and
automation
- Strong troubleshooting skills
(VB, WMI, PowerShell)
- Working knowledge on VMWare ESX
3.5 – 4.0 clusters
- Familiar with HP Hardware
- Scripted installation setup and
SysPrep, Altris/Ghost
- System architecture diagram
creation using Visio
- Windows + VM + Citrix load
balancing
- Active Directory, GPOs
- Resource monitoring
- Close contacts with our
customers for project follow up and on-site
interventions
- On-Call Service one week per
month
Candidate profile and
professional skills
- University graduate
or equivalent
- Two of the following
certifications: MSCE – VMWare – Citrix
- Proven experience in
monitoring, troubleshooting and support of Citrix
XenApp environments on Intel and VMWare platforms
- Three tier computing
architecture experience and knowledge
- Strong Windows
Server/Workstation knowledge
- Storage experience
with SAN / NAS
- Application packaging
experience
- XenApp servers and
complete application integration
Required Technical Skills
- Citrix XenApp on
Intel and VMWare, XenApp 5/PS 4.5
- Citrix Presentation
Server
- Windows Server 2K3
and 2K8 x64/x86
- VB, WMI, PowerShell
- VMWare ESX 3.5 – ESX
4.0
- Familiar with HP
Hardware
- SysPrep
- System architecture
