Established in 1996, Penta began operations as a custom enterprise software development company. Within a few years, Penta entered into the Internet hosting and Application Server Provider (ASP) arena. Today, Penta is among select ASP companies that practice a philosophy of being a security-focused operation.

Prior to Penta, there had been only a few ASP facilities globally with the commitment and means to ensure the privacy of client information equaled only by a private bank. Penta quickly recognized this gap and began building an infrastructure to hold true to the highest level of performance, privacy and security. Our clients who range in size from small to medium companies realize that an ASP model offers the performance, accessibility, virtual infrastructure and committed technical support team without the typical costs associated with an in-house IT operation. This strategic outsourcing decision provides a stable, redundant technology solution with cost savings of up to 40% compared to traditional and in-house Client-Server computing, all while allowing the client to focus on their own business goals.

Penta‘s management team have strong backgrounds in both computer hardware and software development. Farhad Khalilnia, CEO has more than 25 years of experience in software development, server management and business consulting. Penta’s staff is comprised of highly skilled, certified systems engineers who are required to continue their training on an ongoing basis. Two account managers are assigned for each customer with each having full knowledge of the accounts they serve.
